WA Honors Jeff Rezin as 2016 Allman Award Recipient

The Wallcoverings Association (WA) is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2016 Justin P. Allman Award, the industry's highest honor. WA bestows the award to an individual who has made a lasting contribution to the industry over a significant period of time.

It is an honor to announce Jeff Rezin, President, Rezin, Inc. as the 2016 recipient of the Justin P. Allman Award. Jeff has been an outstanding industry supporter for decades. His company, Rezin, Inc., has worked hand-in-hand with the WA to create a clear understanding of customers' needs by maintaining positive relationships as well as motivating stakeholders.

During his tenure, Jeff has made a significant impact on the wallcoverings industry.

"Jeff has been a tireless industry advocate and protector for many years," said Phil Tarullo, Owner, LSI Wallcovering. "He has gone above and beyond all of us to represent and also defend the interests of our industry in the areas of environmental affairs, health and safety. This includes critical industry work done on sustainability, LEED, anti-PVC attacks, recycling/life-cycle debates and more. I have known him personally for many years, dating back to his first participation in industry activities at CFFA as a volunteer from O'Sullivan Films. His knowledge as well as proactive efforts on critical technical issues that affect our industry is second to none. His service to the industry is unmatched, and his involvement with the WA is long standing as well as outstanding. The technical people in our industry are unsung heroes and get very little credit. He is the most poignant example."

Jeff's involvement in the WA has contributed to his success in many ways.

"I was thrilled to learn of my selection for this honor," said Jeff. "Working with the WA has made a huge difference in my life. Working on issues that faced manufacturers as well as distributors required gaining clarity on identifying the positive images we hoped to convey to our customers. This led to developing a positive mental attitude, and also encouraged using creativity to transform desperation into inspiration. Together, we addressed major industry concerns and also recognized we have the ability and determination to be successful."

The Allman Award will be presented at the 2017 WA Annual Meeting during the Allman Award dinner and reception. This year's event will be at the Opal Sands Resort in Clearwater Beach, FL.
