Each graduate of this class is trained in the correct application methods to insure the beauty and precision required in these installations of these Victorian and Craftsmen era custom design schemes. The measuring and installation process is covered, ranging from engineering the room and proper placement of the friezes to how to achieve all the delicate placement of flowers, birds, etc., so that they are set according to the plan in the appropriate placement, adjusted for the site.
Textiles and Fabrics
Graduates of this class will have an enhanced understanding the intricacies of installing fabric. Specific techniques regarding placement of seams, cutting material, and adjusting adhesives for various textiles are included in the class. A variety of products such as felt, linen, cotton, flannel—in addition to a variety of backing types--- are analyzed and used in this class.
